Older-rhesus experiment
Evening melatonin rose; evening cortisol fell.
After 10 days of daily intramuscular Epitalon, the six older female rhesus monkeys had more than fourfold higher evening melatonin and approximately 30% lower evening cortisol than the older saline group.
