When desire goes quiet

When desire goes quiet, trying harder rarely makes it louder.

Low desire can feel distant from the rest of you: affection is still there, the relationship may be good, but desire is not arriving the way it used to. Bremelanotide activates melanocortin receptors involved in sexual desire.

PT-141 nasal study

18

One 20 mg dose. Two in-clinic sessions.

In a double-blind crossover experiment, 18 premenopausal women received a single 20 mg intranasal dose and placebo in separate sessions. More participants reported moderate or high desire after bremelanotide; vaginal vasocongestion did not differ significantly.

The 5 mL bottle will pair its concentration with the pump's metered output and prescribed sprays per dose.
