Older-rhesus experiment
A 10-day hormone-rhythm experiment.
Six young and six older female rhesus monkeys received daily Epitalon or saline. On day 10, the older Epitalon group had more than fourfold higher evening melatonin and approximately 30% lower evening cortisol.
