Possible side effects: Nausea, flushing, and headache were the reactions most often reported in bremelanotide trials. The approved label also covers a temporary rise in blood pressure, a fall in heart rate, and darkening of skin in patches. Get urgent care for hives, swelling, trouble breathing, chest tightness, or fainting.
