How big is the needle?
It is a short, fine subcutaneous needle, the kind used for insulin. The shot goes into the fat layer just under the skin, not into a vein or a muscle.
Does it sting?
Some people feel a sting at the injection site. Message the care team if it bothers you. Practical fixes such as changing the site and the timing usually settle it.
Where do I inject it?
The abdomen and the outer thigh are the usual sites. Rotate the spot each time and follow the directions that come with your shipment.
How is this different from an IV drip?
Both put glutathione into the body instead of the gut. An infusion needs an appointment, a chair, and an hour. This one takes a small syringe at home.
What if I miss a dose?
Take the next one on your normal schedule. Do not double up. Message the care team if you miss several in a row and want to adjust the plan.
How much is in the vial?
Each shipment is one 30 mL vial of glutathione 200 mg/mL. Your prescription label carries your exact dose and schedule.
Do I need to keep it in the fridge?
